These Betting Rules explain the general conditions that apply when you place a wager with Kudos Casino. They should be read together with the website’s Terms and Conditions, Privacy Policy, Responsible Gambling information and any specific rules displayed for a particular betting market or game. By placing a bet, you confirm that you understand and accept the rules that apply to that bet.

1. General betting conditions

These rules apply to bets placed through the Kudos Casino website or any other approved service made available to you. They are intended to provide a clear explanation of how bets are requested, accepted, recorded and settled. Additional conditions may apply to individual sports, events, markets, games or promotions. Where a specific market rule conflicts with a general rule, the specific rule will normally apply to that market.

You must read the information shown on the relevant betting screen before confirming a wager. This may include the event, selection, market type, available odds, stake, possible return, applicable restrictions and any deadline for placing a bet. Information displayed before confirmation is provided to help you check your wager, but a bet is only accepted when it is recorded by the system and a confirmation is shown.

Account and player requirements

You must use your own account and provide information that is accurate, current and complete. You must be legally permitted to gamble in the place where you are located and must meet any applicable age and identity requirements. An account must not be used by another person, and you must keep your login details secure. Bets placed through your account may be treated as your responsibility unless there is evidence of unauthorised use reported in accordance with the relevant account procedures.

  • Only one person may use an individual player account.
  • You must not place bets on behalf of another person or allow another person to access your account.
  • You must not use the service where online gambling is unlawful or restricted.
  • Kudos Casino may conduct identity, age, payment or security checks where required.
  • An account may be restricted, suspended or closed where there is a legal, regulatory, security or operational reason.

You are responsible for checking that the details of each wager are correct before submission. This includes the selected event, market, outcome, stake, odds and bet type. Once a bet has been accepted, it generally cannot be changed or cancelled unless the applicable rules expressly allow it.

2. Placing and accepting bets

How a bet is formed

A bet request is made when you select a market, choose an outcome, enter or confirm a stake and submit the wager. A request is not necessarily a bet. It becomes a binding bet only when it is accepted and recorded in the betting system. You should keep the confirmation or bet reference shown in your account for your records.

Displayed odds, prices, lines and availability may change before a bet is accepted. If the system shows an updated price or asks you to confirm a change, the wager will only proceed after the required confirmation. Where a bet is accepted at a different price or with a different condition, the accepted details shown in your account will apply.

Minimum and maximum stakes

Minimum and maximum stake amounts may apply to particular markets, accounts, events or bet types. Any applicable limit should be displayed before you confirm the wager. A bet that exceeds a limit may be rejected, reduced or otherwise handled in accordance with the displayed market rules and the website’s Terms and Conditions.

Bet types and combinations

The betting screen will identify the available bet type. This may include a single selection, a multiple bet, a combination, a live bet or another market format. The possible return, treatment of unsuccessful selections and effect of a void selection can vary between bet types. You should review the rules shown for the market before confirming a combination or multiple wager.

  • A single bet normally depends on the outcome of one selected market.
  • A multiple or combination bet may require more than one selection to be successful, depending on its format.
  • A live bet is placed while an event is in progress and may be subject to delays, suspended markets and changing prices.
  • Some markets may have special conditions about participants, starting times, qualifying stages or official results.
  • A bet may not be available in every location, on every device or for every event.

System records and technical issues

The records maintained by the betting system are used to determine whether a wager was requested, accepted, rejected, cancelled or settled. If there is a communication failure, display issue, interruption, software fault or other technical problem, you should check your account history before attempting to place the same bet again. A wager may be corrected, cancelled or declared void where it was accepted because of an obvious error, system malfunction or other circumstance described in the applicable rules.

3. Results, settlement and void bets

Determining the result

Bets are settled using the official result or outcome recognised for the relevant event or market. The source used may depend on the sport, competition, game or event. A result may be confirmed after the event has finished, and settlement may be updated if an official result is corrected in accordance with the applicable rules.

The result at the end of the relevant event will generally be used unless the market rules specify another settlement point. Later changes, appeals, disciplinary decisions or changes to records will not necessarily affect a settled bet. Where a market has special settlement conditions, those conditions will be displayed or made available before the bet is placed.

Postponed, abandoned and interrupted events

If an event is postponed, abandoned, interrupted or moved, the treatment of affected bets will depend on the specific market rules. Some bets may remain active if the event is completed within the period or under the conditions stated for that market. Other bets may be declared void. Selections that have already been unconditionally determined may be treated differently from selections that remain undecided.

Voids, dead heats and non-runners

A bet or selection may be void where a market is offered in error, an event does not take place, the required conditions are not met, or the applicable rules provide for cancellation. The effect of a void selection depends on the bet type. In a multiple bet, a void selection may be removed from the calculation while the remaining selections continue, unless the market rules state otherwise.

Dead heats, ties, draws, non-runners and similar outcomes are settled according to the rules for the relevant market. These rules may differ between sports and bet types. You should check the market information before placing a wager, particularly where the number of winners or the final ranking affects the return.

Settlement queries

If you believe a wager has been settled incorrectly, review the bet details and applicable market rules before raising a query through the available support channel. Include the bet reference, event, market and reason for the query. A settlement review may require checking event records, system logs and the official result. The outcome of a review will be based on the applicable rules and available records.

4. Fair play, prohibited conduct and responsible gambling

Fair and lawful use

Kudos Casino expects all players to use the betting service honestly and lawfully. You must not interfere with the website, exploit a technical weakness, use automated tools without permission, manipulate an event or provide false information. You must also comply with applicable Australian laws and any rules that apply to gambling from your location.

  • Do not attempt to gain an unfair advantage through collusion, fraud or misuse of the service.
  • Do not use funds that belong to another person without authorisation.
  • Do not place bets using payment methods that you are not authorised to use.
  • Do not share, sell, transfer or otherwise misuse an account.
  • Do not rely on confidential or improperly obtained information when placing a wager.
  • Do not attempt to bypass account, location, identity or responsible gambling controls.

Where suspicious activity, prohibited conduct or a breach of the rules is identified, action may be taken in accordance with the Terms and Conditions and applicable law. This may include refusing or reviewing transactions, restricting an account, cancelling affected bets, withholding activity pending verification or closing an account. Any action will be handled under the relevant procedures.

Responsible gambling

Gambling should be entertainment, not a way to make money or recover losses. Set a budget before you play and only wager money you can afford to lose. Take regular breaks, avoid chasing losses and do not gamble when affected by alcohol, medication, stress or other circumstances that may affect your judgement.

  • Set personal spending and time limits where these tools are available.
  • Stop playing if gambling is affecting your finances, relationships, work or wellbeing.
  • Consider taking a break or requesting account restrictions if you feel your gambling is becoming difficult to control.
  • Seek independent support if you are concerned about your gambling or someone else’s gambling.
  • Contact the available support team if you need information about responsible gambling options.

These Betting Rules are general information and do not replace the full Terms and Conditions or the specific rules displayed for an individual market. The applicable version is the version in force when the bet is accepted. Please read all available information carefully before placing a wager.
